Top Model
By Ross Bainbridge
Models are people, either male or female, who act as props for the display of items like dresses, jewelry, accessories and the like. Modeling is basically of two types fashion modeling and commercial modeling.
Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Twiggy, Gisele Bundchen, Christie Brinkley, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Petra Nemcova, Beverly Johnson, Elle Macpherson, and Janice Dickinson are a few popular top models who are recognized in all households all over America. Daria Werbowy, Gemma Ward, Lily Cole, Natalia Vodianova, and Karolina Kurkova are a few of the notable top models of today.
Though photographs of top models with their smiling faces may suggest a luxurious life, it is luxury that is hard earned after hundreds of shows, shoots and the like which would have taken a lot of time and effort.

Practical Tips For New Models - Doing Nude Photos
By Arthur Knight
One of the most common questions I get from new models is: "Will nude photos hurt my career?" The short answer is NO, however there are a few But's (pun intended).
Regardless of what some conservative people will tell you, there is not a segment of the modeling industry that I know of that will reject a good model because she has done nude photos. Nearly every top model has shot nude photos from Naomi Campbell to Christie Turlington to Claudia Schiffer. Ultimately a few good nude shots in your portfolio will show your level and diversity as a model.
In the end it comes done to what you are comfortable with and where you are trying to go. You could base you entire career on nudes or never shoot in less than a turtle neck, it is up to you. But be realistic, don't take portfolio for of naky you to apply for a clothing catalog shoot and don't expect to make it big in glamor if your not willing to show a little skin.

Printed T-Shirts - A Trend That Will Never Die
By Adam Singleton
Over the years, printed t-shirts have emerged as statement pieces within the world of fashion. From big, bold pictures to eye-catching phrases, these casual yet stylish pieces are now nothing short of wardrobe must-haves.
But the trend of printed t-shirts is, in actuality, a revival from the 1950s, and is something that has reappeared in the fashion scene many times since then. So why are they so popular, and why can we expect to keep seeing them pop up in future fashion trends?
In the early 1950s several companies based in Miami, Florida, started to decorate t-shirts with different resort names and various characters - a trend which immediately took off, especially with the younger population. Then in the 1960s tie-dying and screen printing became popular, with many of the decade's youth and rock culturists donning the designs. During the same time, several t-shirt companies began producing fine art designs for t-shirts, while others focused on specific emblems and motifs - mainly based on popular associations of the time.
Throughout and since the 1980s, t-shirts have continued to flourish as a means of personal expression, allowing consumers to flaunt their tastes in an inexpensive way. Shirts with bold slogans were particularly popular in the UK during this time, as were hypercolour t-shirts - shirts that changed colour when subjected to heat. These were also popular in the United States during the late 80s - particularly among teens.
During the early noughties, t-shirts started to emerge that focused on humorous or ironic slogans and print designs - a trend that proved particularly popular with celebrities. The political statements that can now also be found on t-shirts poses another reason as to why they've so effectively permeated different levels of culture and society.
However, many of the statements and print designs on t-shirts in recent years might be found to be shocking or offensive, purely for attention-drawing purposes rather than to express a certain belief. Yet big and bold print designs on t-shirts aren't always the most popular either - subdued, almost abstract prints have also taken off with those who enjoy print t-shirts for their artistic quality rather than to draw attention or make a loud statement.
With the wide range of printed t-shirts available, you can easily add these stylish pieces to your wardrobe. Whether you want to make a statement with a bold or funny phrase, or let the pictures on your t-shirt do the talking, don't let these timeless wardrobe must-haves pass you by this season.

Celebrity Style - Beyonce Knowles
By Glena Jess
Super hot and talented musician and fashion icon, Beyoncé, is tired of her pop star status. She's had enough of that and now aspires to be a legend and an icon. The famous Destiny's Child lead singer, born as Beyoncé Giselle Knowles, has tasted phenomenal success in the US in every sphere she has laid her hands on. The multitalented phenomenon sings, composes and writes her own songs. She is an actress par excellence with two Golden Globe nominations in tow, a record producer and runs her family's fashion line, House of Deréon. But to many, Beyoncé is an ultimate fashion diva, a seductive glamorous woman that enchants you with a hint of her vulnerable down-to-earth attitude.
Beyoncé vs. Sasha Fierce
There are two sides to Beyonce' as we know her. One is a simple and innocent Beyonce to her friends, family and some fans. The other is a more dynamite diva she herself has named Sasha Fierce to her fans. The truly professional performer that she is, Beyonce has marked a strong line between her professional and personal life and she says the transformation from Beyonce to Sasha is very spontaneous. According to the superstar herself, "I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am." So basically Beyonce feels as though she has an alter ego that takes over every time she goes on stage.
There is an unbelievable contrast between Beyonce, the person and Sasha, the superstar. Beyonce prefer her looks sans make-up, or very casual, while the 'bootylicious' Sasha Fierce likes to draw attention with golden pinks and blue shadows on her lids, with a dark liner inside the inner rims of her eye, complemented with a peachy pink gloss. "I love that there are two sides to her," says makeup artist Mally Roncal. "One is the natural side, which is about her being real and not wearing much makeup. Then there's her adventurous side, where I can put strong green shadows on her eyes and fuchsia or orange on her lips.
Crazy about shoes
The 'Dangerously in Love' singer loves to pick her accessories, "I do it for myself because I enjoy fashion. It makes me feel like me." Apart from Chanel jewellery, the five times Grammy Award winning Beyonce is crazy about glamorous shoes. The pop culture super star admitted that when it comes to shoes she is as vulnerable as the average woman.
The 'New Shoes' singer said, stilettos are one of her weaknesses, when a pair grabs her eye, she cannot resist hopping into a shop. "I love a high heel", she said during an interview and confessed she prefers the "super-high" variety in particular. "I love those super-high shoes that are out at the moment. I'm addicted," she exclaimed.
Beyonce is also famously popular for matching her accessories. She was once seen sporting some matching embellished high heel boots and a bag. Some of the most noticed shoe styles of Beyonce are diamante and glittery shoes, high heel stiletto shoes, red metallic toe shoes, fiercely high mock-croc heels, high heel pumps in bright colours, towering pair of brown patent platforms with a spindly spiked heel, pointed toe pumps, ankle-strap high heels, wildly sexy open toed high heel sandals that displays her brightly painted nails and sexy toe cleavage. Apart from very high heel stilettos and wedge high heels in spectacular designs, Beyonce also fancies platform high heel shoes.
